We were picked up promptly by our friendly guide, and drove about 30 mins to our hiking loop in the beautiful forest full of autumn colours. The trail was easy to navigate (all a proper trail incl. steps in some places), and there was no chance of getting lost even for a directionally challenged solo traveller like me! We went on a dry sunny day and I wore walking shoes, but normal trainers would have been fine. I recommend layers, as it’s chilly in the shade even on a sunny day but you get warm…”
